Q. How did you get into art?
A. I had picked up my first manga by CLAMP at the school library back in middle school. And from then on I had aspired to be able to draw "pretty pictures with stories". I started out mimicking a few of my favorite artists and started branching off from there! I loved traditional medium as I could feel what I was drawing. I started with color pencils and then tried out watercolors as an alternative to Copic markers (which I could not afford). To this day watercolor still captures my heart! It is such a versatile media to work with, and I am still learning every time.
Q. Are you self-taught?
Yes! However I have taken art classes during high school and for further studies I did a TAFE course in Illustration.
